Have loved this place ever since my dad brought us here for a family vacation since 2003. First time back in a few years and brought my spouse to see how nice it is to get away from Houston city life and relax. We will be back but with more friends who have never heard of this gem.
I am not super fancy and my family and I loved this down to earth place. There are grills, fire pits, plenty of seating and areas to fish. The rooms were clean and each is decorated a little differently. I had trouble with my Groupon but they took care of me. They have a neat concrete flume to slide down which lands you into the river. We did that over and over again. HEB is nearby and we got our groceries there for the weekend. There was a fridge, coffee maker, oven etc...Affordable and great time with family type of place. I would bring kid tubes and floats and stuff as they didn't have that many. Also your own Kayaks would be cool. My kids and I loved it so we are going back.

Nice condos for rent. Small but doable for a weekend away. Nice river with canoes you can take out. Feels like a little community and would be good for groups.
Great location on the Guadalupe for swimming, relaxing. Each room is owned separately so each are decorated uniquely. Bring your own water gear... Not much on site. Also remember your own groceries... Stores are 15-25min away.
Love that its so peaceful out here. I can walk out the door of my room and immediately Im able to enjoy the beautiful scenic river. The outdoor livingrooms, patio decks and fireplace are gorgeous and make this quaint place irresistible. If you are looking for rest and relaxation, this is the place to be.
