I spent a month at this place and honestly it was pretty tight. The case managers were great, and pushed you when you needed it. The only downside to LaHa was the food. The stuff is a step above jail food, it sucked. Overall, LaHa as great
Do not recommend. Not able to handle or work through the smallest behavioral problems which obviously people with addictions have. Will discharge you immediately without providing sufficient time or help to find another facility. Counselor complains about attendees and is not compassionate.

If your a real alcoholic and are seeking a real solution don't walk but run to La Hacienda!!! If your just f...ing around and trying to make your judge or mommy/daddy happy you will be very uncomfortable here, so don't waist your time if your not serious about this life or death disease please please just go to a ______ facility do your time and go about dying.... now if your a real alcoholic/addict and are sick and tired of being sick and tired go here and submerge your self into all they have to offer, (Big book classes taught by real recovered alcoholics/addicts who understand your situation. There is no cure for alcoholism/addiction. They will take you through the first 4 steps as outlined in the book alcoholic anonymous and give you a opportunity to get a outside sponsor at outside meetings (many men and women waiting there to sponsor you) to do your 5 step with so you can continue into your 6,7,8,9,10,11,12 steps. I came in with a complete desperation of a drowning man and willingness to do anything to stop drinking, I left yesterday with a connection to a Higher Power and a heart full of hope!! I am picking up here in seattle where I left off at step 9. I'm on a sponsor hunt this weeked with many contacts they gave me before I left La Hacienda... I'm so excited for my new life I just want to share with everyone who needs help!! there is a solution!! its the 12 steps of AA... Love you all...please love and help each other find there inner peace. I'm not sure about jail food (I never had the pleasure). I guess if you want 5 star chef food there are those treeetment centers in southern cal that have that and yoga, finger painting...etc. been there done that!!! worthless for real alcoholics... salmon wasn't that bad last week in La ha... hmmm.
I was a patient of la Hacienda, sober date 2015 December 11, thanks to Doug,Clay and all the personnel there,I'm now a happy recovering alcoholic. Thank you, for Me!! Eric

All this facility cares about is how much money they can get from you...they always say honesty is their beat policy but as soon as you show a little honesty and really tell the counselor or physciatrist the truth about how you feel they go and say there's nothing more we can do for you here and get a police escort to come pick you up and take you elsewhere without notifying your relatives of where you are going..it also takes an arm and a leg to get your medical records from them because they use the excuse that your aren't on campus anymore so we can't give you any of the patient's information. The overall program is a joke, The 12 step process to a great recovery is a good system but honestly you don't even need to go to a center that requires almost 30k, cause really all you're paying for is an Alcoholic Anonymous book and instruction on a 12 step program with some crappy food. If you want help from the 12 steps go to a group in your local area with NA meetings or AA meeting it's also called the recovery bible.
